EMMERDALE star Sammy Winward’s daughter has claimed her mum is jealous off her huge success.
Mia Dunn, who now goes by the name Mia Kate Rose, has revealed her famous mum refused her olive branch over Christmas as she continues to disapprove of her highly lucrative OnlyFans career.
The 19-year-old made a whopping £100,000 last month alone, but Sammy will no longer speak to her and Mia thinks her success might play a part.
Speaking from a beach in Mexico as she cashes in on her content, she told us: “I think the main thing with my mum is that she was really young – 18 – when she had me.
“I think she’s got some animosity towards me. I think she is maybe just jealous about me doing so well and so quickly.
“I think that’s what my parents issue is really. They think I’ve done it off their backs, but actually, behind the scenes, it takes a lot more work than just being their daughter.”
Mia’s dad is former footballer David Dunn, while her mum is best known for playing Katie Sugden on Emmerdale.
“I don’t want to be defined by being their daughter,” she said.
“That’s exactly why I’ve changed my name on pretty much everything. I realised that it obviously has helped of course.
“Realistically, I’m an Nepo baby. How are they surprised that I’m successful?”
Mia tried to smooth things over with her parents over Christmas, but once again they rejected her.
She explained: “I’m completely fully cut off and they want any sort of contact, which is really big shame because I thought I’d be the bigger person in the whole situation.
“I text them I’m saying I was really sorry, I didn’t want anything bad to come of it, and it doesn’t mean I’m a bad person because I do OnlyFans.”
Mia added: “I haven’t had a birthday text in two years and I haven’t had a Christmas text this year from them.”
She revealed she wasn’t allowed to send Christmas gifts to her siblings and says her mum just “isn’t interested” in trying to make things work.
After making some serious cash, Mia is planning to invest in property in Tulum and is launching her own business, selling off her underwear to her legion of fans.
But despite all her success, Mia is struggling to understand her parent’s stand point.
“Just because I’m an OF girl, it doesn’t mean I’m not a person,” she said.
“I think it’s crazy to have such anger towards me when I am in fact at the end of the day their daughter.
“I do totally get the fact that they don’t love what I do, but at the same time, I am, I’m a human being and especially – I am the human being that came out of my mother.”
